THE FREDERIC CHOPIN SOCIETY

Established in 1984, the Frederic Chopin Society is dedicated to bringing the power and beauty of classical piano to the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota.

The Chopin Society presents an annual series of five concerts open to the general public. Although our name honors Frederic Chopin, the universally regarded "poet of the piano," the Society's programs include the works of many composers and more than three centuries of repertoire.

Events are held at the Janet Wallace Fine Arts Center in St. Paul in a concert hall that fosters an intimate connection between artist and audience. We look for highly individual and engaging artists, those who go beyond mere technical mastery to say something compelling with their art, whether they be the cream of emerging talents or well-established figures in the music world.

THE PIANO RECITAL

At its best, the solo piano recital is an intimate musical conversation between artist and audience. Many consider it the ‘summa’ of musical expression.

Our 26th season proudly continues the great tradition of the piano recital with five exceptional artists who will thrill you, delight you, and move you with their very individual gifts.
