American pianist Simone Dinnerstein has fast been gaining international attention since her triumphant recital debut at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall in 2005 performing Bach’s Goldberg Variations. Her August, 2007 release of the Goldberg on Telarc earned top spot on the Billboard Traditional Classical Chart during its first week of sales and later appeared on ‘Best of 2007’ lists of The New York Times, The New Yorker, iTunes ‘Editor’s Choice Best Classical,’ Amazon.com, and Barnes & Noble's ‘Top 5 Debut CDs,’ among others. Ms Dinnerstein is a graduate of Juilliard, where she studied with Peter Serkin. Her other teachers include Solomon Mikowsky and Maria Curcio.
